Recent Advances on Mobile Communications and Networking
Description:
Mobile communications are marked by the invention of the first generation of mobile communication around 1980. After the explosive growth of the last forty years, they have greatly transformed our societies in many ways. Fifth generation is now moving toward an international framework to achieve the goal of intelligent connectivity for person and things. These application scenarios put forward more requirements for mobile systems, including high throughput, high reliability, low latency, etc. In spite of all the progress made, it is still remain quite challenging to effectively meet these requirements. Many open questions are awaiting to be solved. These are exciting times for researchers.
The goal of this Symposia in ICCES2020 is to bring together researchers from both academia and industry to report and demonstrate the recent advances on mobile communications and networking. Prospective authors are invited to submit original and unpublished abstracts and papers on topics including, but not limited to: channel measurement and characterization, phy/mac layer design and algorithm, mobile network planning and optimization, cross layer enhancement and optimization, etc.
