The Awards Committees Structure

The Awards Committees are standing committees from the Conference Organizing Committee, previous awards winners, and the symposium chairs with outstanding contribution.

Thoughtful Recommendations for Awards Committees appointments are highly appreciated. The proposed individuals should be scholars with expertise that match well with the focus area for the awards and should participate actively in ICCES events.

A recommendation letter, a brief CV and a photo of the proposed individual are required to make the Recommendation. 



The Awards Selection Process 

Nomination

Nominations from any area germane to the ICCES conferences are encouraged and self-nominations are welcome. However, once submitted, changes to the award nomination may not be altered or updated by the applicant.

Evaluation and Selection

All ICCES Awards Selection is expected to exercise initiative in securing nominations of as many well qualified candidates as possible. The Awards Committees, after ensuring that all conditions of the award have been satisfied and that the procedures were followed, in turn, forward the nomination and its supporting documentation to the evaluation. The awards committees shall select an appropriate recipient (recipients) using the evaluation criteria set specific to the award: Scientific Merit / Significance / Importance of the contribution; Relevance of the contribution to the scope of the award; ICCES Service.

Neither the nominator, nominee, nor anyone with conflicts of interest may be involved in evaluating the nominees or selecting the award recipient.

Announcement

The recipient(s) of each award will be announced and honored at ICCES2023 Award Banquet.  All awards recipients are required to register to attend ICCES2023.
