The 26th International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences (ICCES 2020) will be held in April, 2020 at Budva, Montenegro. The conference was initially founded in 1986 as ICCM (International Conference on Computational Mechanics) by Professors Satya N Atluri and Genki Yagawa, to become a forum for then burgeoning discipline of Computational Mechanics. It was the first such international conference.
Following the ICCES 2020, symposia and workshops on a variety of current topics will be held during the conference. We sincerely invite researchers interested in creating and chairing one of the symposia or workshops to submit proposals.
Symposia
The goal of the symposia is to present topical material on a single broad theme, well suited to the main conference audience. The theme should be on an established topic of wider interest to the ICCES2020. A typical format for a symposium would be a brief introduction to the topic followed by talks giving presentation of state of the art results in the area and current directions of research.
Workshops
The goal of the workshops is to provide an informal forum for researchers to discuss important research questions and challenges. Controversial issues, open problems, and comparisons of competing approaches are encouraged as workshop topics.
Extended Abstract/Short papers/Summaries
All regular abstract (>200 words) will be published on ICCES Online (ISSN: 1933-2815 (online)), and made freely available to world community. All accepted extended abstracts (short papers) and all full-length papers (no less than 5 pages) will be published by SPRINGER. Springer publication will be Indexed in Scopus, Engineering Index, etc, for their full archival.
Potential Symposium/Workshop topics range from Composites; Experimental Sciences; Bioengineering & Biomechanics; Geo-Technical Engineering; Offshore, Sub-Sea, Arctic Engineering; Multi-Scale & Multi-Physics; Fluid Engineering; Materials Genome; Structural Integrity & Longevity; Materials Design & Simulation; Methods for Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences; Sound & Vibration; Renewable Materials, etc., as well as any other topic relevant to an appreciable fraction of the ICCES series.
Interested parties must submit a proposal online by October 1, 2019, 00:00:00. Deadline for extended abstract/short papers/summaries is December 1, 2019, 00:00:00. Proposals and papers should be submitted electronically at the ICCES2020’s website: http://www.iccesconf.org/.
